HOW TO APPLY

Choosing to study with the University of Birmingham Dubai is a really exciting decision and you may have many questions on what to do next. You can follow the steps below to help guide you through the process.

We are now accepting direct applications for 2021 entry. We recommend that you apply early and, if accepted, that you allow sufficient time to obtain a visa.

APPLY VIA OUR COURSE FINDER PAGES

Each programme page will take you directly to the admissions portal. Just click ‘apply now’ to begin your application.

2.

YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED

Your application will be considered. This will take up to five to 10 working days after your application and supporting documents have been received. You will need to submit copies of your qualifications, personal statement, reference and personal details.

TRACK ITS PROGRESS

You can track the progress of your application and receive communications from us via the Applicant Portal. You can upload any remaining documents.

4.

ACCEPT YOUR OFFER!

When you accept and meet all of the conditions of your offer and pay your tuition fee deposit, we will confirm your place. It’s that easy!

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

For all programmes, you will need to provide supporting documents with your application.

These include:

  • Transcript or statement of results of your highest qualification or predicted grades (originals or certified copies are not required at the application stage)
  • One or two references
  • If English is not your native language, a copy of your IELTS, TOEFL or Pearson Academic English Test certificate
  • A copy of your passport personal details page

YOUR OFFER

Your offer letter will detail the requirements still to be met before your place will be confirmed.

Offer holders are advised to fulfil their conditions as soon as possible to allow sufficient time to obtain a visa if required, along with Dubai Health Authority-approved medical insurance.
