Mechanical Engineering MEng (Hons) – 4 years (2 years in Dubai + 2 years in UK)
What will you study?
If you study our BEng Mechanical Engineering, you can transfer to the UK MEng programme to complete your graduation. After completing the first two years of our BEng programme in Dubai, our UK MEng programmes will make sure you qualify for registration as a Chartered Engineer.
The first step is to join our BEng programme. You can then start applying for the MEng UK programme during your second BEng year. The first two years of our BEng and MEng programmes are identical. But in Year 3, there are a few differences. MEng also involves a fourth year. So while BEng students complete their main project in Year 3, MEng students complete theirs in Year 4.
This path is open to all Dubai Mechanical Engineering students, as long as you achieve grades of at least 55% in the first two years of your BEng.
If you successfully complete your MEng in the UK, you can also apply for the UK’s Graduate visa. This means you can live and work in the UK after graduation for up to two years. Our Careers Network will help you find placements and jobs both during and after graduation.
