Accounting and Finance MSc – 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time

What will you study?

Having graduated with a degree in accounting and finance, you’ll be looking to further specialise and prepare for new challenges in a globally connected world.

Our MSc programme will build on your existing knowledge, while developing your accounting and finance skills. It will also prepare you for a career on the global stage. This means you’ll be learning with leading researchers in the field, focusing on the latest sustainable and responsible business practices.

Our innovative modules include topics on Accounting Theory and Policy, Corporate Financial Management and Professional Integrity. You’ll get to study other areas such as alternative finance and management accounting. Financial Management MSc – 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time

What will you study?

Our MSc Financial Management course, you will study real-world investment challenges, with an emphasis on ethical and sustainable business practices. The course will give you a vital edge in Dubai’s competitive global finance sector.

Innovative and modern, our module themes include Corporate Financial Management, Financial Management, Financial Modelling Techniques, along with Financial Statement Analysis and Business Valuation.

Human Resource Management MSc – 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time

What will you study?

First, you’ll learn the four core pillars of Human Resources Management - resourcing organisations, developing organisations, reward at work and employment relations. You can then explore a variety of innovative modules, such as The Future of Work. Our course teaches theory and real-world skills, featuring guest speakers and practical exercises, plus insights and perspectives led by academic research.

Responsible business, decent work and good people management are at the forefront of our teaching and research. These specialist skills mean our graduates are in high demand with a wide range of top employers. Module themes include Human Resource Development, International Human Resource Management and Leadership Development. You’ll also complete a final dissertation, applying everything you learn on our Research Methods module.

CIPD-accredited

Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the MSc HRM programme at the University of Birmingham allows students to become CIPD student members, accessing CIPD and university resources. Upon completing the MSc HRM, these students are upgraded to Associate Member (Assoc CIPD), equivalent to CIPD Level 7. Those with relevant HR work experience can apply for Chartered Member (Chartered MCIPD) status.
