Offering a suite of workshops, guest lectures and Executive Education courses, our programmes are designed for working professionals looking to expand their knowledge.

Studying new developments in your field and other related disciplines, you’ll learn from academic experts in the UAE and our world-leading research happening on our UK campus in Birmingham.

This course will give you a deep insight into both UAE and global education. Studying in small class sizes means you’ll have lots of time with our academics, along with group discussions and networking events.

Our experience of working with critical issues in Dubai and the UAE include:

  • Developing inclusion and special education needs support in Dubai
  • Legal issues in financial markets
  • Character virtues of the young in schools

Postgraduate credit-bearing modules

Our exciting, new credit-bearing content can be studied individually as professional education modules, or used towards a postgraduate qualification.

In 2024, we’ll be offering the following programmes

Inclusion and Special Educational Needs (ISEN) modules

These ISEN modules are for in-service teachers, school leaders, policy leaders and others working directly or indirectly with children with disabilities in the UAE, UK and worldwide. They let you study a broad spectrum of inclusion and special educational needs, including:

  • Cross-Cultural Issues in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities;
  • Inclusion: Individual and Group Differences;
  • Evaluation and Policy Analysis for Inclusive Education.

Civil Engineering modules

Our Civil Engineering modules are designed for recent graduates and mid-career engineers. They’ll give you the technical, intellectual and transferable skills needed to take on leading roles. There are two modules you can study:

  • Structural Engineering
  • Sustainable Construction
